Darcor offers a wide range of wheel options to assure that we can optimally meet the needs of each individual application. Basic information on each of the ten major wheel types is provided below, with the opportunity to learn more. Superior for all floor surfaces and offering excellent mobility and wear resistance, Darcor Neoprene “D” wheels are quiet and non-staining. Designed for light to medium loads, they are shock absorbing, and resistant to damage from chemicals and debris.

Very similar to “D” Neoprene wheels, Darcor Neoprene Super Roll “SR”wheels are non-marking, long wearing, shock absorbing, and unaffected harsh conditions. The low profile tread design offers even easier swiveling and mobility than “D” wheels.

Particularly recommended for applications where exceptional mobility is required, Darcor Solid Elastomer “SE”wheels are designed for medium loads. Ideal for continuous use applications, “tow lines”, and in freezers. Chemical resistant.

Very similar application and temperature suitability properties to SE wheels. However, the SX will withstand a 20% higher load and offers even greater mobility, due to reduced swivelling and rolling forces for even the most demanding applications.

Suitable for all floor surfaces with the exception of carpeting, Darcor Urethane “U” wheels are highly recommended for heavy loads and rough floors, and offer excellent durability and mobility, especially when fitted with tapered bearings.

A custom-designed problem solver that will outperform conventional urethanes, the LE is highly resistant to chemicals, long lasting and will provide a smooth ride. The resiliency of this material makes it suitable for any floor surface. Various durometers.

Offering excellent mobility and able to carry the heaviest loads under all temperature conditions, Darcor Cast Iron wheels (tread symbol “CI”) provide good durability and resistance to chemicals and debris. Recommended only for concrete or metal floors.

Made from a semi-resilient rubber, this is a tough, robust wheel suitable for smooth, clean floors. Non-conductive, rubber wheels are recommended for use in temperatures ranging from 0ºF – 110ºF and are available in Darcor 20, 60, and 70 series casters.

Made from an extremely tough, hard synthetic rubber material and good for smooth, clean floors—although they are not affected by oil, grease, gas or cleaning compounds. Temperature range: -40ºF to 110ºF. Available in E2, 53, 20, 30, 60, and 70 series.

Similar to Cast Iron in construction and materials, Darcor V-Groove wheels are designed for specialized high capacity use on inverted angle iron “rails”. High tensile iron construction makes them unsuitable for use under exposure to water or steam.

Darcor caster solutions are available whevever you need them.
