Each member brings to the team unique strengths and disciplines which help achieve ambitious targets on a department-by-department basis and ultimately drive the Company’s exceptional record of consistent growth.

Rob E. Hilborn, President

Rob joined Darcor in 1999 as Marketing Manager and progressed quickly via a number of other positions—overseeing Assembly, Human Resources, and Relationship Management—to become President in January 2002. He is also a member of the Board. He holds an honours degree in Commerce from McMaster University and is a past member of TEC, an international organization of business leaders.

Ron Birrell, Director of Sales

Ron joined Darcor in 2008, bringing the company an exceptional record of senior sales management, meeting the needs of customers for technical products in services in North American and international markets, including South America and the Middle East. His experience includes leadership positions with a major engineering systems company and with a high end medical technologies supplier.

Kirk Tobias, Director of Marketing

Kirk joined Darcor as the Director of Marketing in 2006, bringing with him a wealth of experience in both strategic planning as well as the execution of a broad cross section of marketing programs. Kirk's experience crosses many industries, including Manufacturing, Professional and Financial Services, and Software. In addition, Kirk holds an Honours degree in Commerce from the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University.

Michael Kleiber, Operations Manager

A member of the Darcor team since July 2005, Michael has extensive experience in manufacturing in both union and non-union environments. His previous positions include senior project and program management for Magna and GM in both Ontario and Austria. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from The Kettering Institute.

Adrian Steenson, Engineering Manager

Adrian started with Darcor in 1987 as an engineer and has managed the engineering department for 17 years, a period in which he has traveled to more than 20 countries to solve application problems and developed hundreds of new casters and wheels. Adrian holds a degree in Industrial Engineering Technology and has had extensive training in both Negotiation and Sales Management.

Dan Watson, Controller

Dan became part of Darcor in 2006, bringing many years in senior financial management as a Controller in divisional and corporate settings—most recently as Controller with a privately held, high-end custom machinery manufacturer. A Certified General Accountant and MBA, he recently earned his Certified Public Accountant designation.

Paula Manuk, Customer Service Supervisor

Paula joined Darcor in 2006, on the strength of more than 20 years of experience in Customer Service, working in increasingly responsible management positions on behalf of a number of Canadian and multinational companies.
