Budgets
are already big enough. Darcor gets it right - in one
take, every time.
During filming, casters are often critical to how a
scene plays out.
In the 1980s horror classic, The Shining, a critical
scene involved a trailer turning on its side and sliding
down a highway. The challenge was to make sure the trailer
moved far enough - but not too far. The vehicle had
to move in a controlled slide and therefore could not
really slide at all.
This unique challenge called for an innovative solution:
Darcor casters. Because of the adaptability of both
Darcor's casters and its design engineers, the extremely
difficult became extremely possible.
The casters had to be dependable. Imagine the cost of
having to re-shoot this scene because of a caster failure,
not to mention the dangers of casters not operating
properly in such an environment. Failure could have
resulted in lost time, lost dollars and even injury
to the crew.
The whole scene had to be tightly controlled, and Darcor's
reputation for quality and finding unique solutions
that work passed the test once again. To find out more
