FLAT SPOTTING
A condition affecting wheels that have endured a considerable amount of pressure in one area. A flat spot on a wheel will significantly affect a caster’s performance. Flat spotting is often the result of a brake being left applied for a long time or heavy weight left on a cart in stationary mode.
